The Beatles with Mike and Bernie during rehearsals. EXCLUSIVE!

The Beatles stood on a two-foot riser wearing their famous
collarless jackets in front of a brick archway.

They mimed to the following songs:

'From Me To You'
'She Loves You'
'Twist And shout'
'I Saw Her Standing There'

The complete show has survived and clips from this
were seen in The Beatles 'Anthology' series.

The Beatles performed in front of an audience of 600.

Were you there or know of someone at the theatre that night?

TBIM thanks Dave Roberts for his updating of an error:-

I've greatly enjoyed looking at your website, packed as it is with wonderful info about an era I remember so well, but I hope you won't mind my pointing out one error:
The studios in Didsbury, Manchester, were owned and operated by ABC Weekend Television, not ATV. ABC broadcast at weekends in the North up until 1968 (Granada TV did weekdays) when it merged with Rediffusion London to become Thames TV. ATV was the contractor for weekdays in the Midlands and weekends in London.
