JIMMY SAVILLE O.B.E.

One of the most high profile of all Manchester DJ's.
A Leeds lad who made a name for himself in the Manchester
Beat clubs such as the Oasis, Beat City
and Belle Vue's Top Ten Club.

He launched Top Of The Pops in 1962 from its BBC
studio home in Dickinson Road, Rusholme, Manchester.

As a firm favourite of The Beatles he introduced them on
stage many times. The NME awards and
